Walk for Suicide Awareness

The 3rd Annual Walk for Suicide Awareness is scheduled for Saturday, September 8, 2012 at Riverview Middle School in Kaukauna.

This walk supports survivors and memorializes those we have lost. This walk is about encouraging the sharing of stories, helping to make suicide less of a stigma in our community and make it more acceptable to seek help. The Walk is a day of healing, education and memories and truly empowering.

The walk begins at 10:00am, rain or shine. There will be a live band, refreshments, and a chance at raffles for participants directly following the walk. Sign up individually or with a team online by August 18 at: www.walkforsuicideawareness.org.
