CHAPS Academy Announces 8th Annual Fall Frolic & Family Fun Day

Proceeds Will Benefit Children and Families Receiving CHAPS’ Services

Fun family activities are the focus of CHAPS Academy’s 8th Annual Fall Frolic & Family Fun Day set for Saturday, October 13th from 10:00 am – 4:00 p.m. at the CHAPS facility in Shiocton. Though admission is free, donations of any amount are appreciated.

The event, sponsored by Duell Strategies, benefits the children and families served by CHAPS. Family-friendly activities such as face painting, a children’s rodeo, inflatable games, hayrides, pony and camel rides, and a petting zoo will be featured. The event will also showcase Rhia the Trick Horse, featuring Derrick Dupler, and a performance by the Mirror Image Dance Academy. Live and silent auctions and raffles throughout the day will also be available.

Through the use of equine-assisted activities, CHAPS serves children and families experiencing emotional and/or behavioral difficulties, primarily providing suicide prevention and intervention services. CHAPS programming empowers those in need to achieve ongoing productivity and success within the home, at school, at work, and in the community.
CHAPS is located at N5367 Mayflower Rd. in Shiocton, and also provides services out of Appleton and Kaukauna satellite offices.
