Victor Haens 3rd Annual Cabin Fever Reliever

Whew what a wild ride this is to bring you guys the best event EVER! We would like to take a moment and explain to all why we do this event. Victor Haen is a Title One school. That means they are a school with high percentages of children from low income families. That also means they have a high percentage of teachers with HUGE hearts! These teachers make sure that their students have everything they need to make sure they are successful
in their elementary school career. They work hard to make sure each child is happy and have the tools they need to learn. 
Two vendor event fundraisers are held each year. These fundraisers are HUGE for the school and mean a lot to the teachers and students. All the money earned from
these are put right back into the school. What is the money used for? Well we are glad you asked! The money earned helps the PAC purchase "extras" like teacher needs in the classroom for example: easels for the classrooms, reading rugs all school supplies for the First graders and all other classroom needs. This money 
also helps out with gym and playground equipment (best class ever). The monies are also put towards testing celebrations, thats huge to us! Come on out February 18th from 9-2 shop amongst over 50 vendors! We got some pretty amazing vendors and crafters for you guys to shop from! There will be chances to win 
some pretty amazing items also! Each vendor will be donating an item to this event.
We have worked amazingly hard to make this event a success for this school and to show them that as a community WE CARE!
Also if you can I personally (Cathy) want to do a book drive for the students. If you could please check your bookshelves and see if you have any elementary level gently used books that you are no longer reading and donate them to Victor. We 
will have a basket at the entry way to drop the books off. As a mom to 3 boys (one being special education) I always enjoyed being able to read a book to them each and every night before bed. My boys have always been very fortunate to own way to many books as they would say. I will personally be going through theirs 
and donating to this! I'm sure I will cry as I remember when they were tiny and sitting on my lap while I read it BUT i'm also sure the knowledge that another family will be able to create that memory with their child(ren) will make them all happy tears!!!
