Ribbon Cutting & Open House - Center for Suicide Awareness

Join us as we celebrate the Center for Suicide Awareness Community Center with a Ribbon Cutting and Open House!

The official ribbon cutting will take place at 4:30 PM, followed by an Open House until 5:30 PM.

September is Suicide Prevention & Awareness Month, making this a meaningful opportunity to learn more about the programs, partnerships, and outreach the Center for Suicide Awareness is bringing directly into our communities.

Guests will have the opportunity to tour the Community Center, meet the team, and learn how the Center is moving suicide prevention beyond awareness and into proactive prevention, education, connection, and early intervention.

Learn more about the Center’s work, including the HOPELINE™ emotional support text line, school based mental health programming, first responder wellness and suicide prevention training, veteran outreach, community education, interactive wellness initiatives, and other resources designed to meet people where they are.

Light refreshments will be provided.
