DESCRIPTION:We all know or love someone who has been affected by dementia in some way.  In order to lend support to our friends and neighbors\, St. Paul Elder Services and the Fox Valley Memory Project's Purple Angel Campaign is looking for ways to make our community more dementia-friendly.  As part of our campaign\, we are offering dementia-friendly information to local businesses so they can earn the Purple Angel decal\, letting their patrons know they are a dementia friendly business.  This includes:\n\n*       Training for your employees that promotes understanding and support for persons with dementia.\n\n*       Recommendations for simple changes that make your business and your services more dementia friendly.\n\n*       Information for connecting your staff and patrons to local resources for further support.\n\n \n\nAfter participating\, you will receive the universal Purple Angel decal to display\, making the community aware that you are now a dementia-friendly business.  Please join us on our mission of a dementia-friendly community!
