DESCRIPTION:Am a I Social Entrepreneur? \n\nIf you have heard of social innovation and wondered\, well I'm not a social innovator .you are wrong.  Kelsey will introduce you to the social innovation ecosystem\, terminology\, and how you can be a force for positive change in Wisconsin. \n\nPresented by:\n\nKelsey Otero\n\nMarquette University\n\nAssociate Director\, Social Innovation Initiative\, Marquette\, ChangeLeader\n\n \n\nKelsey Otero works at Marquette University and supports faculty\, staff\, and students interested in social innovation and change making.  In this role she also works with outside organizations such as the Global Social Benefit Institute and Ashoka U\, serving as the ChangeLeader for Marquette University.  Kelsey serves as the advisor for the ChangeMakers@MU student organization\, leads bootcamps for the community on building their social ventures\, and spearheads the University's business plan competition.  In addition\, Kelsey supports the University's largest community initiative\, the Near West Side Promoting Assets\, Reducing Crime program and co-chairs a working team focused on neighborhood economic development.  She is a 2009 graduate of the University of Notre Dame and earned her MBA from Marquette University in 2014.
