DESCRIPTION:St. Paul Elder Services (SPES) is partnering with the Alzheimer?s Association to offer a free education series on Alzheimer?s. The series will include four programs on different topics related to living with or caring for someone with dementia. SPES and the Alzheimer?s Association have a collaborative relationship to support those affected by Alzheimer?s and dementia. SPES fully embraces the mission of the Alzheimer?s Association ? to end Alzheimer?s and all other dementia through global research\, risk reduction\, early detection and quality care. This educational series is offered as part of Passages\, a SPES memory care program\, which provides a continuum of care and respite support for any care partner or person living with dementia\, including community-based support services. These events are free\, but participants must register for each session by calling 800-272-3900. Participants are not required to attend all sessions in the series. A box dinner will be included for all attendees.
